Roller Rockers

Is it really worth the money to invest in roller rockers in the process of the rebuild or should I save the money and go with regular rockers. Almos done with the rebuild and need some more of you experts advice.

I doubt if it is worth the minimal advantage obtained with roller rockers to invest in them unless you are going the roller route whole hog, i.e.; roller cam and roller lifters. The gain with roller rockers alone might be 10-15 hp at most, and even that might be highly questionable. The most gain in horsepower and engine efficiency comes from a roller cam and lifters and the loosing of a lot of friction where it counts the most.

it depends what you are going to do with it. you could also go with roller tip rockers. i am no expert on this matter but i would think that the roller tip is the majority of the gain with roller rockers. the non roller rockers drag across the stem of the valve and the roller tip will roll.
