Oil pressure question

What is normal operating oil pressure for a '69 350? At idle I'm at 40psi and at cruising speed around 2200rpm my pressure is reading around 50psi and as high as 60psi under acceleration. Is this normal? Seems a little high to me but new to SBO engines.

Thanks. Getting a lot of feedback from a FB group all saying the same thing.

40-60PSI sounds great. Is 40 your warm idle PSI? If so that's fine
Curious, what type and weight of oil are you using?
I recommend using top quality oil filters...WIX, NAPA Gold, Baldwin.
Use high Zinc oil or zinc additive and add some ProLong after break-in in if its a fresh rebuild.

I'm pretty much at 40 from turnover regardless of engine temp. Haven't fired her up in cold weather though. I am running 10w30 with a wix filter. Only mods I'm aware of are edelbrock rpm intake and 1406 carb, long headers(unknown brand), hei distributor(gray cap/unknown), accel coil and a jegs 2.5" exhaust.

That's about the same as my engine.

That's great oil pressure for a healthy engine.

Agreed, no cause for concern at all.
