I am looking for the gasket that goes on the 1 inch bolt that holds the bronze fuel filter into the carburetor (4 barrel). Can't find it at a parts house. Do I have to buy a whole carb rebuild kit with set of gaskets to get this? Unable to locate one separately. Wanted to replace it after changing the fuel filter just to be safe. To make sure no possibility of a leak. What do you suggest? Thank you for response. Jon M.

Get several of the washers, then you will never have one go bad,<--HUMOR I have used them and they are quite helpful.

 

Be aware there are two kinds, one that goes around the threaded fitting and butts up against the hex portion, one that goes on the end of the opening that fits into the hole in the carb. i don't remember if the two styles are the same diameter or if they are different, though.
