Correct Hone grit

Hello all,

needing to get a flex hone for the bores on my 70’ 350. Going with cast rings. What is the appropriate hone grit for cast rings? 120, 240, 320?? Also stock bores so the 3.75-4 1/8 size hone is correct? 4.057 on the stock bore I believe.

Thanks!

Look at this site or others.

Looks like 240, but you should check with the manufacturer of the rings you are using. Your flex hone should be only slightly larger than the bore.
