Thin fangs, it is a 7.5", triangular ears are a 8.5". The 8.5" drive shaft is also 1" shorter.

Yes the 90 degree angles cast ears on lower left and right corners besides the easily noticed 7.5 cover is shorter than it is wide but the 8.5 cover is basically round height and width similar. Look under a S10 and see the 7.5 for reference

should i take the drive shaft as well or get mine cut to length?.. Thinking about it, i think i should get the driveshaft lol. Probably get it balanced and everything.

7.5 appearance (note shorter and wider besides smaller and no prominent lower corner ears )

Besides just pull a tape measure vertical to 8.5 inch and see if it fits well between top and bottom bolts or not if these pics are not enough

the edelbrock heads are big block heads! Valves are to big and the port’s are too big kills bottom end power!!!
