Lower radiator hose rubbing - '72 Cutlass
Lower radiator hose is rubbing rubbing against a bolt in a way that looks like it will chafe and tear (see image).
It is a quality reproduction (so supposed to be correct length for 72 Cutlass)
Is the solution the obvious one, to simply cut it down a little?

Push the end on the water pump in about 2", and you will have clearance.
