valve covers with no PCV

valve covers with no PCV

Hi there, whats the deal with valve covers in aluminium 'Oldsmobile' milled covers....but they have no PVC hole....will this cause problems?

With aftermarket valve covers I've found you can add the PCV and breather ports

My 67 had no PCV when I got it. The rear main dripped, as did the manifold end rails. I put the PCV back, and the leaks stopped and oil consumption is now about 1/2 quart between oil changes.

Aftermarket aluminum covers are blank so you can install whatever type of breather you want by drilling the right holes.
