PCV For Edelbrock #4485 Valve covers
Sorry if this has been answered before, spent some time with the search function with no definitive conclusions.
I put edlebrock 4485 valve covers on my '74 455 and the PCV Valve wont fit the grommet that comes with the vc's and it goes in too deep; no biggie, got a stock style one, however that did not fit the valve covers correctly.
Just looking if someone has encountered and found a solution to all of this... one thread suggested this part: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/FRM-FV112/ but there was no confirmation as to whether or not it worked.
thanks

You can change the grommet to one that will work, your local auto parts store has various sized aftermarket ones. The PCV that you referred to is an inline type that can be picked up at your local parts store also. I recommend a stock unit that will go into the valve cover with the correct grommet. Also make sure there is a baffle in the hole that the PCV goes into as it will suck oil if it's missing.
