Vacume advance can

Ok so this is hard to explain, I think my vacume advance is bad but not sure.
I usually make sure it has ported vacume. meaning when you give the carb alittle gas then it sucks the advance and pulls timing.
so that is working. but i have a Tiny dead spot. I just put in a New accelerator pump because that was bad also.
i had No fuel in the morning as the pump fell apart inside the carb so i fixed that and works fine.
so it seems that the vacume can some times pulls vaucme and some times it does not.
I do have the Tcs switch disconnected. i think that is what its called that can on the intake on the passenger front. that shouldn't matter those never work so i ran it direct to the ported vacume on the drivers front of the carb.

You can easily test advance can function with a hand vacuum pump. Note that rust can lead to the point plate sticking.
