SpeedPro Flat top Pistons

Anyone interested in some barely used .030 over, flat top pistons? They are SpeedPro L2320F for 350 sbo with coated skirts, still on the rods. I'll try to take some pics this weekend for any interested parties.

Edit 11/25/14: These are standard bore pistons, not .030 over.

SOLD!

Copper:
Summit sells new pistons for $319, I was told these pistons were only run for a short time (less than 500 miles). They look to be in pretty good shape. They are installed on stock rods. I'll try to take some pics for you.

Here are some pics of the pistons. There is some light scuffing on the skirts and the tops are very clean which seems to support the low mileage claim. I described these as .030 oversized, but they are in fact for a standard bore. They are stamped L2320F STD. There are numbers written in sharpie on the bottoms of the pistons and on the sides of the rods. I'm not that familiar with engine rebuilding, but I think these are the weights of the parts and could possibly mean the rods and pistons are balanced as a pair and the rods have probably been reconditioned.

These pistons and rods were part of a bulk parts purchase I made from a guy who never got around to building his motor. I bought his brand new ProComp heads, Howard's rockers, E-brock manifold and carb, a Lunati cam & lifter set, and these used pistons and rods. I only wanted the heads and intake but he wouldn't separate the lot...so I bought it all. He was planning to use these rods and pistons as-is in his 350 street motor.

Copper & Gearman, I think I'd like $250 for the set, buyer pays shipping. What do you think?

For another 70 bucks id rather go new. Because I would end up having the pistons pressed of the rods . That alone cost 80 bucks. I have seen bbo speedpro pistons forged. Units go for 100 used. Not trying to beat you up on price but considering room for error and all that 200 would be fair. My current build started as 355 that had a flat cam. I paid 500 . It was not balanced , and the block turned out to be junk I left my self no room for error and it was a wash I could have started with new parts and been better off. If I didn't get extra parts in the deal I would have been screwed. German its all you bud I wanted .030 these are standard.

Doubt I can use any STD pistons but will have to see what both of my short blocks look like when they are apart. Maybe my 68 engine is low wear in the bore but IDK yet as my 70 engine is rusted stuck. Can you remove the rod bearing and see if the rod looks freshly machined (resized) and if the rod bolts look like old stock or are they aftermarket by chance ? Thanks

Copper, sorry about the wrong description. I should have checked the size before posting-just went with what the seller told me.
Gearman, I'm out of town until Sun- I'll check the bearing surface and rod bolts when I return. I'll post some pics too. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Well, I remove a few of the rod journal caps and they have not been resized as I previously thought; in fact, they look kind of rough to me then but I don't have much experience with internal engine parts - see pics below. My initial asking price is not reasonable given the condition of the rods, so I'm open to offers.

Here are a few more pics of the pistons.

Worst of the scuffed skirts

This one has some light "road rash" on the top of the piston.
