1976 Cutlass engine paint

hallo guys ,
can you help me ??
I've to paint an old 350 engine , coming used from a Corvette C3 , in order to install on my 1976 Cutlass salon , originally bilt in Switzerland .

Where can I find historic documentation about the original engine and especially on his block color ?

Thanks dear friends

An Olds 350 is a different animal than a Chebby 350, or a Buick 350 or a Pontiac 350. The C3 engine will not bolt up to (mate) with an Olds transmission.

... And, if you do find an Olds engine, in 1976 it would have been painted GM Corporate Blue.

Sorry, but it's not this the question : the marriage between C3 engine and Olds transmission has been just successfully celebrated .

The question is the color of the husband jacket .....

This isn't a stock installation, so what difference is the engine color? Paint it Chevy orange so everyone knows.

How did the engine become the husband?

:-)

Blue for the Olds engine, or Gold if you want that older school "Golden Rocket" look.

Chevy Orange for a Chevy I reckon
