Should I grind away this metal....

Should I grind away this metal....

See the small lip on the dual plane divider on the bottom of the butterfly throat holes...shuold I "dremel" this away a bit to smooth it out?

aslong as it's not on the engine it wouldnt hurt it.

Is your spacer on correctly, the divider should run up the center?

Any mismatch like that will cause turbulence, disrupting the flow.

@ oldscutlass I think hid intake is a spreadbore kind so that lip is probably where it starts to widen out for the secondaries would be my guess. I have only seen that with spreadbore intakes and spacers like that.

The spacer is seated and centered. There are equal amounts of metal on each side, I took the tpicture of the one side for clarity. Spread bore has nothing to do with it, the "devider" is straight and narrow from front to back........

You can, just as Joe say's to smooth your flow. If the divider is raised flush with the rest of the manifold as a true dual plane, I would also run 4 hole gaskets, top and bottom.
