Question SBO NOS 350 Block

I have found a NOS 350 block with the casting number 557752-3B which I think is a 77-80.

Is this a good block to build or do I need a 395558 69-76 block??

Thanks,

Thirdcoast

It depends on the power made. The early block is a much better foundation.

All 1977-90 Olds gas blocks have windowed main webs, including that 350. The suitability depends on what you plan to do with it. It would be fine for a driver, not so much for a drag car.
