Question SBO NOS 350 Block

I have found a NOS 350 block with the casting number 557752-3B which I think is a 77-80.

Is this a good block to build or do I need a 395558 69-76 block??

It depends on the power made. The early block is a much better foundation.
olds 307 and 403 is offline

All 1977-90 Olds gas blocks have windowed main webs, including that 350. The suitability depends on what you plan to do with it. It would be fine for a driver, not so much for a drag car.

Going to be a 400+ HP engine, so will pass on the late model block,,
