That casting number only proves it a 403. Any pics to prove the solid main webs? Let me guess didn’t get pics of that because you don’t want to take it apart, it’s in a car, or you don’t have access to it.

 

yes i can take it more apart i just figured it out i got most apart do i need take crank out of it for better pics but i can take a pic of the oil pan is off but i got some stuff i gotta take care of but i will take all it apart rest the way tomorrow though for better pics but im go take a pic of the webbing that i can see brb give me 15 mins

 

 

that's as good as i can get till i take the crank out tomorrow deff never seen anything like this before like i said i no reason to lie the 554990 4A code is the SMW code theres one other code that is a SMW as well 557 something cant remember but almost dead positive this is a a 403 SMW block know that we got the pics out the way and all this ill get better pics of webbing tomorrow but what do you think it be worth and what did they come out of and or specs its complete engine with intake and heads

 

the rest of the block codes always have 4B not 4A and the 4A is the SMW the 4B is the normal ones

 

I moved your post to its own thread, no need to open old threads or post in multiple places. Will wait for more pictures, but highly doubt it. There was a reward posted years ago by the late Chris Whitt, for a very large sum of money. It was on here, ebay, and probably other places. I'm sure if one existed it would have shown up long before you found what you think is one.

wasn't there only 2500 made give or take right well that being said just think about it that's only 2500 people that had it right ? and most the people back in the day that does have one normally 60 percent of older people don't even use computers or anything like that and could say probably half those 2500 didn't even know it was a SMW even is or if It was advertised that it was in it right so that makes the numbers or people actually haven them and knew what they had or seen that large sum of money reward ur talking about right so logically speaking here would make it where a lot of the people never seen or herd of them maken it the myth js and how is people gonna know its real threw pics if no ones seen real pics right so the only way to prove that its a real one is to get the bore being measured from below I guess ??

Those holes below the bores are the windows.

 

also there is numbers and letters on the rods witch I think is kinda weird as well my dads saying that hes never seen any that had lettering like that as far as he can remember is that odd or normal? 975cas and other side has bo199 those are around the caps of the rod and on the rod itself has a CX on it

You guys are just letting him string you along. He's obviously taking the pics at a bad angle and with a Nextel phone or something.

 

Make a engine package with big HP making bores and small main housing bores-then put windows in the block so when you do make power with it the main bulk heads self destruct. Unbelievable
