Hey guys! I was just visited by the Q-Jet fairy and she left me a Q-Jet off of a running Chebby 350. Will this work on a Rocket 350? Did I win the carb lotto?![Smile](https://classicoldsmobile.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
BTW, this is going on a Edel performer intake with a mild cam and full tube headers. Thanks to all that reply.

The answer to your question is yes it will work.....Then there is the BUT....The linkage is different, The fuel inlet is different and the choke is different...... If you want to deal with those issues then the carb is the carb....most of us go ahead and get one for an Oldsmobile and it is much less to deal with....

OK, well I guess I just have a QJet paperweight.
Jeg's list a rebuilt QJet with a divorced choke(what is that?). I know they're not as good as a Sparky, but will they perform on a mild refresh?

A divorced choke gets fuel-support.............![Big Grin](https://classicoldsmobile.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
The divorced choke is separate from the carb. The choke is on the manifold (to pick up engine heat) and linked to the carb.
The name come from the fact that it is separate.
