Sorry to post here, but do not know how to respond to his pm and include pics, so I'm posting pics of headers here.

Main part of your question related to the distance of the pipe from the collectors vs the stock manifold. As I stated in my first response, the distance was further...as one picture shows, the connecting point of the collector and pipe is somewhere around the middle/bottom of the starter. Hope this helps, it was hard to get a good photo with the motor in the car.

Take the headers back.The guys will jump in Im sure and tell you which ones to buy.I got a cheap pair last fall and took them back.The parts guy told me most people hammer them down a little.I told him money please!
