Hi,

I'm trying to eliminate engine/timing issues with my old points ignition. I've gotten to the part where you have to gap the points and...well...I just don't wanna do it. Trying to lean in there with a feeler gauge is just a huge pain in the you-know-what.

Anyone have a recommendation on which Pertronix module to buy? Do I need anything else? Should I change the coil at the same time?

 

Ignitor 2 conversion and flamethrower 2 coil.
You will have to wire the pickup to a good ignition source, it won't run off the stock resistor wire.
The pertronix coils work with or without a ballast resistor.
