I have a 403 that I put chrome valve covers on with no port for the pcv valve, any ideas on what a guy should do?

Not use a PCV valve is your only choice with those valve covers. I would junk them cause how are going to
relieve the crankcase pressure?

1) Get better valve covers

or

2) Drill a hole and install a grommet for the PCV

You DO want to run a PCV valve.
