OLDS 79 350

HI OLDS HEADS
MY NAME IS ROCCETMAN IM FROM CALI IM A OLDS MAN I RECENTLY PURCHASED MY 5TH OLDS 8-10-09 ITS AN 86 OLDS CUTLASS SUPREME BROUGHAM 4DR SEDAN IT HAS THE OLDS 307 SBO I WAS GIVING A 1979 OLDS 350 OUT OF A 1979 PONTIAC MY QUESTION IS.IS THEIR ANYTHING I COULD DO TO GIVE THAT OLDS 350 MORE HP SOME WHERE NEAR 300HP
STOCK SPECS ARE 160HP/245lbsft tq any help would be great

You could put over $10,000 of parts into the 350 to make it go REALLY fast. Of course, if you're on a budget like most of us I suggest finding a good set of SBO heads, and making sure you're running true dual exhausts and a properly tuned Q-jet. These are the quickest and cheapest power adders.

Earlier heads will also add power check out the small block forum lots of info there and a better place to ask questions

300 HP is real easy to make. You will need at least 9.5-1 compression pistons, good flowing heads, a cam around 270 duration 480 lift, roller tip rockers, stock carb would be fine or a 650 holley. Headers if you want or don't. I would change the gears in the rearend to 3.23 or maybe 3.42 to make the most of it.
