Oil not reaching rockers

Just had my 69 350 rebuilt and went to prime the oil pump and I'm not getting any oil to the rockers. Just to the lifters. Using a Drill ? Maybe need a stronger one ?

We're the oil galley plugs installed AND the correct ones with holes in them for the timing chain and the distributor gear?

Getting oil to the rockers can be tough but if the plugs were left out it may never happen. If the wrong plugs were put in it will cause oil starvation.

Good luck!!!!

Yes they were. Its just strange that oil comes out the lifters and drains back into the block. I've took out the pushrods when I noticed. This and there all good and clean, So I reinstalled them and still the same problem persists ?

What RPM does your drill turn ? You might need a faster one. Is oil draining from all lifters ? What brand lifters are you using ? Is the smaller area around the lifters protruding out the top or bottom ?

Are you running the drill counter clockwise? That would reverse to normal drilling.
