no oil coming thru push rods
hey olds nation
. what would cause oil not to flow thru the push rods up to the rocker arms. the 2,3 and 4 rockers aren't getting oil up to them. i checked the push rods and the are not clogged up. could it be the lifters. could this cause it to make a tapping noise

See lifter tick in Big Block section.
Did you blow compressed air through them?
Rarely does the lifter itself do this, it's usually particles (debris), or heat that gums up the works.
Or lost oil pressure (oil level/oil pump/drive).
