Hey Guys,
Finished a carb rebuild on my QJet 4BBL for my 350. I need a part that had been bent in the past by a previous owner and a slight touch snapped it completely. It's the secondary lockout that is attached by a dowel pin to the top of the air horn between the primary and secondaries. When the choke is open when the engine temp is hot, it allows the secondaries to be engaged to allow full 4 BBL operation. Right now it's not on there at all, which I don't see being a major issue but I know that my undiagnosed OCD will not allow me to finish knowing that a piece is not correct. I've attached pics of the part, it has 37968 stamped on it but that number doesn't give me much online so I'm afraid this part is going to be pretty obscure. Anyone know where I can get one?

 

If nobody here has a spare, I'd call Cliff Ruggles, or one of the other carb guys - they'll probably sell you one for $5 or less.

Secondary lockout tab. Shoot me a PM, I'll pop one off of my pile 'o parts.
Yeah, not a major issue. If you stab the secondaries before the engine is warm, you'll get a nice big backfire to remind you to wait.
