Looks pretty good for a 260
I kind of wish I kept my SP2P intake but who would have thought I would buy a car with a 260. I used the EGR block off from the Performer intake on my shelf and painted everything under the hood, 45 years worth of rust. Used high temp aluminum paint on the manifolds, Rustoleum Aged Copper on the motor and gloss black on the air cleaner and brackets. My Oldsmobile 10" air cleaner lid fits the stock air filter perfect, just need an extension to fasten it on.

Yes with the gravel on top of the pavement from winter. With the true dual exhaust, it sounds good and adds power everywhere, making the 260 tolerable. I should run it down the 1/8 mile once, just to see.

Then its like my really tired 350, burns rubber with one tire on wet asphalt

So, you gotta change your user name then?

If anything I would change it to Olds 350 and 424. The 260 is not a long term motor, just a stop gap.
