ok, so i gotta a 600cfm performer carb and an OL4B intake from edelbrock and need some help. i know it'll fit under the hood but im having some toruble finding the right adjustable throttle cable/kickdown bracket. any one got an idea? edelbrock part #350-8031 maybe?

 

I USED THE ORIGINAL Q JET BRACKET AND WENT AND BOUGHT A MR GASKET basic BRACKET AT THE PARTS STORE. Cut the cable /kickdown holders off of the original bracket and welded the mr gasket bracket onto the original . , ground it down and painted it .Now I basically have about a one inch longer original bracket
I believe that your problem is that you need to get the bracket about 3/4 inch towards the driver side of the car correct ?
I have not seen a decent bracket for the edlebrocks yet , but mine turned out good and it looks kind of stock.

 

great idea and yes that is what i have to do for the cable to work. think ill go get a bracket tonight and do some cuttin. thanks a bunch mjaks462
