Looking for #5 heads

Hey Gang
I have lurked for a while, and now that the weather is warming, it is time to start turning wrenches. I have a 79 ta with a 403, which I have grown to love, but that is another story. The car is going to be used as a road car, not a racer. I would love to get more compression out of it, so I am looking for a set of heads. Any help is appreciated. Btw, I'm in the Tampa, Fl area.

Well 6, 7, 7a are also good choices for heads. Any of them would be an improvement over the stock 4A heads. Just remember when using the early heads you have to drill out the bolt holes for the head bolts to 17/32 for the 1/2 bolts.

#5 heads

I have a virgin set of #5's for $100 plus shipping,
shipping to a bussiness address would be alot cheaper.

That is a good point, about the 6's and 7's, since it isn't a matching # car, I would be happy to discuss any responses. Thanks
