BTW, like my Craftsman timing light, both my timing light and these (Sears = SR&C, Craftsman) timing lights were all produced by Actron Industries for SR&C. The prefix "161" annotates the company/manufacturer who produced the appliance(s).

Not long after Earth began cooling I found this pretty cool site about antique/vintage machinery >>>VintageMachinery.org

Here's the list of alpha-numeric codes for Sears appliances/devices

Yes, unfortunately I'm in Canada which makes it a huge pain to get this stuff. Basically, take the costs showing on Ebay and multiply it by 3 and that's roughly what it works out to in the end......if you're lucky. Sometimes you get hit with a random customs fee that can add yet another 50 - 80 bucks on to the bill.

I would bet even in Canada, if you enter "engine analyzer" on ebay/CA search you'd come up with quite a few.

Nothing on there currently, but I'll keep my eyes open for one.

Yep, and those are the ones that get ya the 3x bill. I've been through this enough to know the deal.

Completely understand Canada pricing, customs & taxes. I've assisted a couple Canada members secure purchases in the U.S. then sent those item(s) to the member(s) in Canada marked as "gift". I don't think I'd want to do this on a regular basis as customs maintains records of everything.
