Before writing this I tried searching the forums but could not find an answer, please forgive me if I missed it.
I have a 355 olds going into a 1979 cutlass. I'm replacing that little 305 you know what Oldsmobile put in there in 1979.
The block is also a 79 block but with #4 heads, mild build, dyno'd HP 408.3 @ 5600.
Torque is pretty flat with max torque measured of 412.2 @ 3600 and dipping slightly to 389.1 @ 5100 before naturally declining to 356.7@ 6000.
The motor was not ran beyond 6000.
I have a 3 line tank and looking for a 3 line mechanical fuel pump. I bought a carter pump but the way the outlet on the fuel pump is clocked the outlet interferes with the air conditioning bracket on the SBO.
I am looking for a 'clockable', mechanical, 3 line pump that will feed 400+ HP. I would like to buy something to handle 450+ because I've been used to 160HP from the chebby and well, I know my right foot capabilities.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

TSP makes a pump which is clockable. It’s a Chinese copy of the old Holley 80 gph pump so beware
I know of one in use and it’s been ok on a street 455. . We used two brass 90’s 1/4 npt to 3/8” hose. I drilled out the 1/4npt threaded end of the each fitting to a bigger diameter for better flow. Didn’t test the psi at full throttle but it’s working ok for him
