Help I.D. Motor-if you can

Here is the Engine #'s --395558-2 and the Heads are marked #5 .It's of course a Olds 350 but I'm just trying to make sure this is the original factory motor for this Car and some factory details on it. I have the factory 69 Olds book but it wasan't any help. Here is the I.D. on the Car. #-336879E113548. Thanks for your help and time friends.

I believe you have to look for the # stamped on a pad on the front of the engine, below the head behind the alt(if it is an a/c car I believe...left side!) That # should correspond with the sequence # at the end of your VIN...unless it was a dealer warranty replacement it may be blank(should have been stamped by the mechanics, but often too lazy!)....the experts will chime in!

The #5 heads would have been factory installed on a 1969 350.

Thanks Guys,

Joe, thanks that's the info, that's what I needed. I wanted to make sure it was a correct Olds 350 for the 1969 Cutlass.

ent72olds-Thanks for that info, I've been looking all over for the Numbers. It was an original A/C Car so I'll give a new look tonight.
