Looks like they fit well. if you by decent headers that are made fior the car you should be able to get them in.

Thumbs up

Seen headers installed on a lot of '73-'77s over the years. Only thing you have to do is remove the frame reinforcement bars that go from the engine crossmember to the side rails. Nice looking headers. Car looks good too.

latest pix,, got the cheapest dual hump crossmember i could find, which happened ta be off a 68 Skylark,, got it off ebay for 40 bux,, it finds great! just need ta rig some kinda clamps for the ends and itll be all set,, you can see now how one header's kinda bent,,, but yaknow for a piddling hundred dollar set of flowtech headers, also off ebay, who even cares eh?

Old man safety tip - use jack stands and wood blocking instead of those blocks next time. Odds are low, but concrete blocks can fail all at once, especially hollow cinder blocks. Please tell me you did not get underneath when it was supported by the blocks and floor jack!

For future reference, a '73 or '74 "A" body crossmember has the double hump design, and is a more direct fit for the '77 frame. If you could locate the frame brackets and rubber cushions that go with the Skylark crossmember, you could use that to mount it with. The 1964-72 Pontiac, Olds and Buick "A" body brackets will work.

yep yep quite right,, its pretty redneck the way its in there right now heheh yeah the 73-4 one is certainly preferable but sooo expensive,,,, i just need ta get to a junkyard that hasnt bailed all their older stuff yet! for instance, i asked the salvage yard a few years ago if i could buy this old beat 67 lemans they had so i could make a gto clone, and theyre like no its not for sale we only sell parts,, then a few months later they crushed the whole thing!! AAARRRRGGGHHHHH!!!

For future reference, Hedman 58150 headers are a direct bolt in for the 73-77 cutlass, and 77-90 delta 88/98/wagon

Big blocks and small blocks have the same mountin points and exhaust port size so they'll fit!

The headers will bolt to the heads, but they are unlikely to clear the starter, motor mounts, oil filter adapter, crossmember, etc. due to the difference in deck height.
