felpro head gaskets

felpro head gaskets

when using these do you want to copper coat them?

Felpro blue headgaskets are ready to use from the box no sealer needed.

Copper coat is not a bad idea. I do it to help seal better. It's up to you, what ever you feel like.
I spray them and let dry for a couple of hours.

Felpro does not need it...I would think if you do spray you better get it on even...a few thou off and here and there could cause problems...

Also...just wondering...wouldnt spraying the head gasket interfere with the thickness and cause problems with the sealing rings?

Copper coat is for steel shim head gaskets. The FelPro blue gaskets do not need nor want any coating.
