EGR diagram

Guys I have a 1983 Olds/Hurst that I am trying to restore because the previous owner took ot to a supposedly mechanic and he removed the original carb and few vacuum lines including the EGR solenoid. I need to find the original diagram to hook up the vacuum lines as they suppose to be from the factory and all the emission parts and hoses. Any suggestion where to find a repair book that shows the diagram or any online sketch for the hoses? I already found the original carburetor and rebuild it.

No, but I'd think most 307s from the era would be similar.

Hope these help somewhat.. from what I understand most of the 307's were pretty much the same as far as hose routing. Not sure if there was a difference between VIN Y & VIN 9 but I doubt it.

The VIN Y and 9's were different. The 9 uses a simple idle speed solenoid on the carb that kicks the idle up when the AC is on. The Y uses a complicated mess of gizmos instead and it functions a little different too. Why Olds when through the trouble of disigning two different setups is beyond me...

Seems like way more trouble than it was worth... I have a VIN Y myself and I feel like Medusa's attacking me every time I look at those vacuum lines...

Yeah ya gotta love when these guys rip something apart before they know what it does lol. Mine is my daily driver so I'm always reading/watching videos before I do something or else I might be taking the bus to work the next day..
