Doing full exhaust,what mufflers?

Hey guys as some of you know I just got a 70 Cutty Supreme, I am looking to do a full exhaust setup. Now I just picked up a set of Flowtech Long Tube headers for $30 in good shape.I have an X-pipe fom summit and i would like to know what would you recommend for mufflers? Im looking to get the most performance here and i dont care about looks so what do yo recommend,I would also like to stay away from glass packs(because i think they are too loud unless im wrong) so what mufflers and what brand?

I have a set of Dynomax Ultraflows on my `72 LeMans. It has a healthy 400 with a 2.5" system and X-Pipe. The car is a blast to drive. They are inexpensive, flow well, and are pretty quiet.

I'd go with the "Dynomax" Great sound and flow very good. I also like to have tail pipes of at least 2 1/2 in size. I hate the turn downs at the rear end.

X3 on the Dynomax. Flowmasters have that unique combination of obnoxious sound and overly-restrictive flow.

I guess dynomax it is,any particular muffler models? Im looking for a little sound, not as loud as open headers tho but not too quiet here, again performance is most important here.

Dynomax has the best flow, Horsepower books by Smokey Yunick (avaiable at Barnes and Noble) always have Dynomax at the top.

I have Dynomax Long Case Turbos on mine and I like them. I also liked the Magnaflows as well. Took them off cuz I thought that was the source of my drone. It was only part if it. The cats and X pipe are the rest.

We have the Dynomax Super Turbos on the 71 Skylark (Olds powered) It ius very mellow inside, nice sound outside. Inexpensive and reasonably durable.

Race Bullets are going to be louder than the Super Turbos. The turbo is more mellow.

I also have the Dynomax Super Turbos on my 64 with a 350 and I love them. Gives a nice rumble that is loud enough to turn heads and not be annoying at the same time.
