I searched for a previous post but couldn't find the answer. I think this should be an easy one. I'm about to put my engine and transmission back into the car and have cleaned and painted everything, except for the engine and transmission dipsticks. Is there a specific color the dipstick handles should be painted? Or are they just a natural steel finish?
1972 350 cutlass engine and a 350TH Transmission.

Figured I might as well try and get it right.......
