Cylinder head stud replacement / AC delete
Hello
I have 1972 Delta 88 with 350. Pulled 350 and found a good running used 350 to drop in. All set to go and found new 350 does not have cylinder head stud to connect my AC bracket. Compressor is shot if I just delete it I have PS and Alt both on drivers side. Is this a problem for engine wear?
other option is to pull cylinder head bolt and replace with stud from old engine. Concerned about pulling head bolt on good engine?
Anyone with thoughts and guidance would be appreciated!
Thanks
72 olds 350 AC removed. No pulley on passenger side. This is original engine with stud for AC. I’m missing this stud on new engine

Ive read on here its no issue other than the visual assymetry. I ran mine like that for a while till i located an Ac delete alternator bracket. Itis more visually appealing with the accesories on both sides of the engine

Swapping one head bolt is no big deal. I've done this on several motors for the same reason.

A/C bracket adjustment
So I swapped the one head bolt for a stud from old engine. AC fits over it but the intake manifold is not original so when I bolt it down it does not align with bracket bolted to front of block. Has anyone modified original brackets to open up holes to give some room to adjust?
