Crankcase Opening
I Just recently installed a proform air cleaner in place of the OEM. The previous owner had some jimmy rigged duct/hosing involved I had to trash and now I’m stuck with this 2” OD hole (picture attached)
Any ideas on what parts/kit to use would be helpful. I have looked at crankcase filters but finding the right setup alludes me

It has nothing to do with the crankcase.
Its purpose is to preheat air entering the aircleaner snorkel for quicker warmup and improved cold weather operation.
Ambient temperature air is drawn thru the sheetmetal shroud covering the exhaust manifold. It then goes thru a tube from shroud to aircleaner snorkel.
Snorkel has a temperature-controlled vacuum operated flap that closes the snorkel to outside air in cold engine conditions, forcing engine to use the heated air from the shroud. As engine warms up, the flap moves to put the engine on cooler ambient air.
If you don't have a factory aircleaner the preheater shroud serves no purpose. Your call whether to remove it or leave it in place. It's held on with a few sheetmetal screws that aren't always easy to access.
