Cooling my 70S with the 350 upgrade

I am looking to run the factory 4 blade non clutch fan, no shroud and recored at some point 3 core rad. I am going to run flush the system while the 260 is in there but it does look pretty good in the rad. I will be running the Robert Shaw EP Stewart modified high flow 160 thermostat, Flowkooler 6" closed impellar water pump with slightly under driven aluminum water pump pulleys. They are similar to the factory non A/C pulleys in size. I do have Dodge Stratus electric fans but don't want to spend $100+ for a decent fan controller and have to upgrade my alternator. Will this set up decently cool my 9 to 1 350? The car is non A/C for now and I will be running a large trans cooler. I am wanting 190 temps and lower and usually we don't get hotter than 90 degrees but will be humid. Anyone have a link to a fan shroud? Unfortunately my seven blade clutch fan burnt with the Olds powered 4x4. I may have a 5 blade kicking around but might have tossed it.

When I put the H/O back on the road a few years back I needed a quick fix (1-800 Radiator) yep, no shame here. Handled the 307 just fine. I keep telling myself that I am going to put in a new radiator with the 350 in there but this one works just fine, car can sit there and idle away without issue (9.5cr, ac delco pump, stant 160 thermo, headers, parts car shroud, the hayden 2747 clutch is really the straw that stirs the drink tho). I picked up the new fan shroud just posting in the classified section (60 bucks plus the ride).

I am thinking with this 3 core being recored and only being a 350, it will be fine. A 403 or 455, not so much. Does the shroud fit the solid 4 blade fan? I want this car to be simple to drive and be reliable. I could go cross country with it as is, a slightly detuned 350 and 2004R should be that much better.

I've got a stock shroud around a stock soild 4 blade fan and it fits fine.

Excellent, that will probably be the first I will do if the temp isn't where I want it.

I'd try it as is and see what it does. Change if necessary.

Im running 95 9c1 caprice fans and moroso electric drive water pump. Today was 90 degrees and humid. I was no higher than 200 at a red light and went down to 190 quickly after take off then 185 after a longer period. I might add im not running a t-stat either. No od. with 3.90's

I dont use a fan controler i just turn it on and off and i use a stock mid 80's 3/4 ton gm truck alt. no issues.

This works better with my car alteast vs. the stock set up which i had proper with the shroud and clutch and fan.

That is how I am running my Dodge Stratus fans in my G body. A toggle switch won't cut it if someone else drives the car, I need it idiot proof.
