Coolant in oil, 67’ 330

Just got the 330 fired up and immediately there is quite a huge leak of what seems to be oil and coolant coming from the oil filter area. Milky white/grey oil that’s really thin. Clean coolant coming out of the water pump and radiator.
Pulled the oil filter and replaced gasket from filter assembly to block. Clean coolant in the heads and some signs of coolant below the intake.
pulled the header on the afflicted side(passenger side) and i noticed no damage on the new head gasket but it looked a bit wrong. Can anyone tell me if the head gasket matches the head on the attached picture? Or if anyone has had a similar issue? There is almost no oil getting pushed into the driver side valvetrain.

To me it looks like the head gasket is covering some of the coolant passageways, is this gasket faulty?

Those holes in the head casting are primarily used to clear the sand core molds out of the head. They are not all required for cooling. The gasket is designed correctly.

thank you
edit: one of the passageways is only partially covered, is that normal too?

Fresh motor? Aluminum intake manifold? A loose intake could leak coolant into the crank case, ask me how I know.

Water pump backing plate/timing covers are known to pit and eventually develop pin holes. A possibility for water in oil.

What intake manifold and gasket/s are you using?

sorry for the late reply, i do not know the brand but it is original quality and the best i can source here. I changed both the intake and head gaskets and pressure-tested the coolant system with no coolant leaking from the pan so as far as i know the problem has been solved

Was it the steel pan gasket? Even with the composite gaskets, RTV is needed around the 4 corner water ports on both sides of the gasket.

A 330 does not use the turkey tray gasket because it has a drip pan bolted to the lifter galley. It does use steel shim gaskets but they are individual to the left and right intake banks.

I believe one of the intake gaskets dropped a millimeter when i put on the intake causing oil and coolant to mix in the galley and end up in the crankcase. But i am still having trouble with the engine

It keeps the oil that slings off the rotating camshaft from hitting the bottom of the intake manifold and cooking on the exhaust crossover.
