Cant seem to catch a break...uggg.. power steering problems...

Cant seem to catch a break...uggg.. power steering problems...

Can someone show me a pic of a power steering bracket and how it mounts on a 71 Olds Cutlass S.. Just cant seem to figure the one out that I have.. Something doesnt seem right...I had A/C, but took it out..so I have brackets for A/C.. been reading posts on here that say non A/C cars had alternator on passenger side.. mine is on drivers side..my alternator bracket is fine, but just cant figure out the power steering bracket....can someone please help me before i pull my hair out....

Google Wild About Cars. They have the assembly manual you can look at.

thanks alot guys....it definetly looks like im missing a piece...Pictures were awesome and very helpful..Now to find the pieces I need... Any one have any??I would post pics of what I have but havent mastered the pic part on here yet..lol...

Well, you're right about the alt on non AC and AC. But that shouldn't matter for your power steering pump. The bracket you have for the PS pump stays in the same location. I know that when I took mine apart to clean and paint it got confusing re-assembling it. I resorted to looking it up in my 72 Assembly Manual.

John....From the looks of the pics that Eric sent to me..I need the flat bracket that attaches to the two water pump bolts...Thats the one I am missing..Also need the spacers too.....
