Tell whoever that person is that he's hasn't a clue and from now on I wouldn't be taking any advice from him without first verifying with someone who knows cars. Seriously, does he think all these older cars came with electric fans?

And when people keep saying frame brackets from a 307. There talking about the lower frame mounts that bolt to the frame correct??
Yes. If you want to swap out that Buick engine for an Olds, you need the frame mounts for an Olds engine for that car. Any frame mounts from a G-body with 307 will work for you.

If you have a complete set of matching brackets and pulleys on your Olds 350 right now, then they will fit in the car. Personally I used a set of brackets and pulleys from an Olds 307 because that's what I had.

When you bolt in those frame mounts they need to be bolted in the proper holes on the frame. No, I don't know exactly which ones they are since I never had to bother changing mine when I did my 307 to 350 swap.

Yeah the motor was complete. and I have the frame mounts to a 307. There was a picture on that forum from v6 to v8 swap where the new mounts go. Thanks for your help with everything. I get confused alot trying to make sure everything is in order. I want to make sure I have everything before I go to ahead of myself. Sorry for all the questions and everyone on here has really helped me alot. I know there will be more questions to come. So if I get a olds 350 fan it will work completely? If so I know where to get one. I also seen on a olds forum a guys stock wiring from a v6 worked for his v8?

Yes, but you need to get a fan shroud for a V8.
