Advice on carb, and headers

I am putting a oldsmobile 350 together for my daughters car a 1976 cutlass supreme. The motor is a 1970 vintage with #6 heads. The block is now bored .30 over, with TRW 2320F-30 pistons installed, compression should be around 10.2 to 1 i believe. the heads are 63cc, I bought a comp cams valvetrain kit which included studs, rockers, and guide plates. the cam is a comp cams extreme energy 274 kit which included springs and all other hardware. the specs are 236-240 duration and 520 523 lift. The intake is a Edlebrock 7111. I need advice on who makes the best fitting header that does not need any cutting, and what carb would work best with this set up. I am thinking of a 750 speed demon with electric choke and vacuum secondaries. The car will be driven every day. It has a 2500 stall, and 3.90 gears waiting to be installed. This is my first olds, bought the car last month only has 46000 miles and is wearing original paint. the stock motor has low oil pressure at idle when warm, and rattles when revved up in neutral when warm, so went ahead and built new motor while still driving the old one. Sorry for the length first post.

For an everyday car I'd go with a Quadrajet. When properly done they are awesome carbs.
Are you swapping in a 200 4R trans to go with those gears?

That is plan for the spring as winter will soon be here and the car will be put away. The quadra jet on my stock motor stumbles bad when the choke comes off, it runs good until then, and runs good when at wot. just stumbles real bad under part accelaration. I would not be against using it, any good places to send them out to.

I would sugget a set of Hooker compition heards for this combo. That is going to be a healthy cam for that motor. I used the same cam in a 455 and you will be lucky to pull enough vaccume for power brakes. You will also need adjustanle rockers to run this. It might be borderline but close. Whats the intended use for the car really? Its going to be something to get used to for a DD.

It will be here sunny day driver around town, and weekend track car for fun. Thanks for the header recommendation. Was this cam tolearable for everyday driving. I have only built big block fords before and those cam events are okay in them for the street. I was going to go with the 268 extreme but was a little worried it would not get here through the quarter mile with the gear we want to run.

Everyone has there own definition of tolerable so all I can say is it was okay but I wouldnt be driving it to work everyday or anything. That cam with a performer and 3.42 gears got me to 11.75 in a 3500pound 442. This is with a 461 so the cam was probably a little tamer for me cuz of the cubic inches.
