AC lines question

AC lines question

Before I put them back in I wanna clean them up but too much rubber parts to take to the powercoater so can I paint them, if yes, it engien paint ok?

Are you talking about the hi and low pressure AC lines that come off the back of the compressor and are half aluminum and half rubber? If so, I would suggest not painting these. In addition, make sure you buy new ones if you just redid your AC system.

Yes those.

They just look like crap.

I didn't put new parts in the AC system. I'm putting the old parts back in and just wanted to clean them up

Oh, well... in that case you can just clean the rubber really good with a mild detergent and some Armor All. You might consider Simple Green. It works wonders.
