tomorrow hopefully ill get the chance im going to pull the fuel filter and spray it out in there with some c&c cleaner and see if that helps (w/out the filter) maybe i put it in backward and it just happens that im getting the same results in running from the bad alt/bat and me being a dip

Figured out the buttfly issue, I'm an idiot but while looking found the choke tube it's snapped

i have had more than one of those cars with a bad map sensor that caused backfiring,bogging and just awful performance with no check engine light. the sensor was stuck on 2.5 volts and not moving from .5 to 5 volts like it should. you will need a scanner capable of data stream info to find a problem like that. the early computers weren't much help.

One more update, running better, now flooding and backfiring terribly until the secondaries open then it screams. Fixed the choke hose, cleaned a few sensors removed fuel filter and sprayed cleaner inside. Changing carb tomorrow hoping that will either fix it or help figure it out

Changed the carb and all is better! Idles a bit high but I'll take it! All of the bolts including the mounts were all hand tight, think I'll rebuild it now, thank you all for the help!
