I saw a 68 on craigslist for I think $750. It had W-31 cast into it. Very cool.

 

Unless you have a 1970 W 30 with a 350 and mismatched intake, I would say not more than an aftermarket intake. Why buy an orignial W 30 intake for bundles unless you are completely restoring one? It is a cool find though.

 

Well, the 68 W-31 didn't use an aluminum intake. Both 69 and 69 used the same cast iron intake as every other 350 those years. Only 1970 used the aluminum intake and it didn't say "W-31", it said "W-350".

Correct, intact, date coded W-31 intakes are worth north of $1,000 to a restorer. As far as performance is concerned, the runner shape and flow is identical to that of the 1970 cast iron intake.

 

What did I see then on Craigslist? I could've sworn it said it was 1968 and it had W-31 cast into the intake runner on the front end of the intake. I saw the pic, maybe it was phony.
