69 Cutlass S 350 vacuum line question

I have a 69 Cutlass S convertible with the original 350. The power brakes and transmission have dedicated vacuum lines. I have an MSD electronic distributer (not vacuum assisted). I'm trying to run the vacuum line for my trunk release and need to know if I can run a dedicated line off the intake or do I need one of those canisters?

Thank you

You want the canister so the remote trunk release works after the engine is turned off. The canister pumps down while the engine is running and has a check valve so it retains vacuum to operate the trunk even with the engine off.

thank you Joe.

I have two copies of the assembly manual and the print quality is poor on both. Do you have a readable vacuum line routing diagram?
