Did you get it fixed? Let me know and i will look, and or take photos of a 70 350 with a/c. And try to help.
I would like to know where the carb. side of the vacuum/carbine can goes on a Holley with Edelbrock intakeon a BBO? I ran it to the back of the intake with two vacuum lead on the connector. It seems to be working OK, it is getting plenty of gas. But is it right? Let me know if I can help with the 350.

Norm, That is a great photo, but that is were the vacuum advance goes right?
My question was. Where does the hose from Carb side of canister assembly on front passenger side go on a Holley/Edalbrock set up? Book shows lower front of stock Carb. I put the hose at the same location as the air cleaner on the back of Edalbrock intake.

Look down from the arrow on 88's picture and you will see were the pvc valve is connected. Right next to it is the port were the cannister line goes. Thanks to Norm I found that out after he helped me

vac can
The 750 duel line single pump I have has the only the PVC connection coming out the back of the throttle plate and nothing else. I am glad you got yours working, and I mine will be fine with the vac can going to the intake. Really seems to be running good.
