67 Cutlass Supreme

Hello, "rebuilding" a 330ci 4barrel, Air Conditioning car
Question- Is it recommended to change the Engine fan (clutch) if not re-installing the A/C system
Thanks Brian

Change to what? The other stock alternative was a 4 blade fixed with no shroud. Leave the clutch fan setup and shroud.

I think he means if he should buy a replacement clutch. Unless it is leaking and the engine was cooling fine, leave it alone.

I think Eric interpreted the question correctly, which was "should I retain the clutch fan if I delete A/C?" I also agree with Eric's answer. There's no reason to eliminate the clutch fan. The fixed four blade fan draws more HP while moving less air for cooling.
