67-330 camshaft specs
I have a 67-330 (4brl- 320 horsepwr). I looked at the oldsmobillity website and they show the camshaft specs @ .401/.401 lift does any one know the duration of the stock camshafts? thanks brian
I have/had four 1967 425 4 barrel engines. All were 39° camshaft angle. Looking at that chart I would "guess" the 4 barrel 330 engines are also 39°. Never "assume" anything, check your angle before buying a camshaft but if it's 39° selection and cost is better. Jmo.
There's really nothing in that chart that lets you deduce lifter bank angle. The valve event timing information is for one cylinder only.
Looking at the cam identification pictures, I wouldn't think Oldsmobile bean counters would let them make both 45° & 39° camshaft of the same specifications. I've never checked a 1967 330 4 barrel engine but I'm sure someone on the forum has. Jmo
