Camshaft Specs/grinds etc.

For a 1955 324 does anyone have any good experiences with a certain cam grind or specs in conjunction with the hydromatic. I would really like to have a little healthier cam, and after a lot of searching the best thing I can come up with is to send the cam off to be reground at Comp Cams and they can tell me what the specs are and what if anything they can do to spice it up a bit. They also said they could nitride heat treat it when they are done for a buck and a quarter.

Thanks

Comp and Isky can regrind. Isky might even have a new cam left over. Don't go too big on an otherwise stock setup with those sorry exhaust manifolds.
