I rebuilt the carb, now it wont accelerate. I put new power piston in and new kit. Pretty simple. It idles great but when you move accelerator lever, its almost like it isnt movin. Like barely off of the throttle position. I double checked the float lever. Im not saying its the carb. Could it be timing advance. Any ideas appreciated. Thanks.

 

Turn the engine off. Take the air cleaner off, open choke, look down the throat of the carb as you open the throttle. Does is squirt fuel inside? If not then you have a problem with the power circuit in the carb. Dirty fuel filter or weak pump too.
If it does squirt, then check your ignition timing, make sure the mechanical & vacuum advance is working.
